I always try to plan to add more to this blog, but it gets really difficult when your work schedule conflicts with your free time. Your free time not only consists of your music projects, but also your writing projects, and daily necessary things we need to do for life maintenance. It’s a pain to keep it all together sometimes and depression can ensue, but I assure you I am staying as positive as I can.
Scars Like These played at The Fire Sat June 23. It was a horrendous experience. In short, we got on the wrong bill with the wrong bands and basically not enough people stayed to see us play last. But ya know what? Fuck em.
Anyways, I’m over that. Our next show will be at Century Bar in Philly. I will post the flyer/event page for that soon. In the meanwhile, we have been working on some new songs for the future full length LP.
On the other side of things, I have gotten back into doing MoonCandle again with Zach. I am finishing up the one from late 2016/early 2017 that I never finished. It’s a total of a half an hour and it’s one song. It’s a lot of grueling work, but the finished product will be epic for fans of weird drone music.
I’ve been trying to get back into writing. This blog helps, but I want to get more movie reviews on here again soon and I want to take part in this writing contest Zach was telling me about. I’ll see what I can do to get everything on here that I have already written soon. This includes the rest of the Friday the 13th movies and Martin Scorsese movies.
Well, that’s it for now. Check back soon!
